Business Overview

I am Gabrielle Heide the owner of Studio Claremont, let me tell you a little about us. Studio Claremont is the studio I've always dreamed of having, a perfect place for EVERYONE to be creative! I received my BA in ART from Cal State Long Beach 1986 and my teaching credential from Cal Poly Pomona in 1987. Over the last 27 + years, I have taught art to students of virtually all ages, pre-school, home school, elementary, junior and senior high school, adult school, senior citizens, as well as the physically and developmentally disabled, in the Claremont and Upland Unified School Districts. As Studio Claremont's artistic director/owner, I work closely with our staff of fun loving well qualified teachers to ensure the highest quality of art instruction for all students in the studio! However, my favorite part of the studio is teaching art! We have the BEST JOBS IN THE WORLD!!!! Mary Blandino, art teacher, came to work at Studio Claremont in 2008. She has a BA in ART from Cal Poly Pomona and is an AMAZING ARTIST AND TEACHER! Mary has a gift for creating on the spot. Too bad there's not a TLC show called ART Wars, Mary would definitely win! She can help any student problem solve any art dilemma. We love to laugh at Studio Claremont, and Mary is known for making us all feel funny and happy by laughing at all of our bad jokes. If you are lucky, you might even get to see her wonderful art, when she shows it, she's kinda shy. Melissa Pachon started at Studio Claremont in 2009 and has her BA from the University of LaVerne and is working on her teaching credential. We knew she was a "keeper" when she said she loves kids! She teaches on Saturdays and Fridays to our LIttle Artists and Elementary class. She really knows how to run an organized and efficient classroom with a smile. Melissa is also our super soccer star, she coaches for Upland Christian and has even traveled to Spain to play! Good news/bad news, Ms. Melissa got a full time elementary teaching job with the Alhambra Unified School District, so we wish her well. Jacque Heide has been raised at Studio Claremont, she's my kid. She's a junior at CHS and is the Vice President of the Special Education department's Best Buds Club. She is very artistic and loves kids! She says she wants to be a teacher someday.
