Have you ever felt like taking a painting class to unleash your inner Picasso, but felt as though you couldn't even paint a stick figure? Are you looking for something different and new to do for a birthday party, ladies night out, team builder, first date, couples or even as a single person who is looking for some unique social interaction in the Folsom or Midtown Sacramento area? The Painted Cork "paint and sip" Art Studio is a comfortable, fun and hip Art Studio with an exciting social atmosphere. Guests get their creative juices flowing as a professional Art instructor teaches them a 2 to 3 hour relaxed painting class while they enjoy a glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage and their favorite snacks. All Art supplies are included with the class such as brushes, paints, canvases, easels and aprons, and every class is taught step by step so there is NO EXPERIENCE necessary! Guests simply go to our website and click onto the "Calendar" tab to view our calendar of classes, register online for their choice class and show up to the class 20-25 minutes early with their favorite bottle of wine and munchies. The artist of the day gets onto a stage and instructs the entire class on how to paint the selected painting of the day or night. The artist explains the painting process and shows the group which brush to use, how to mix the colors and where to place them onto the canvas. The guest can follow along with the instruction or they can change colors or add elements to their paintings as they go. There are no rules on how our guests would like to paint their masterpiece. We take breaks throughout the class so that the paintings can have some dry time and so the guests can have some social time with their friends, food, wine and music. The classes range from 2-4 hours long with a price range of $35-$50 a class, depending on the painting at hand. The Painted Cork has two locations, one in the heart of Historic Folsom on Sutter St and one in Midtown Sacramento on J St in between 16th and 17th St, both of which are conveniently located near fantastic restaurants, bars, boutiques, coffee shops etc. So, When your class is over feel free to continue the fun in Historic Folsom or Midtown Sacramento!!
