Handbuilding Class For Kids

The Pigeon & The Hen Pottery

Kids will learn how to sculpt by hand a cute narwhal bowl and shark pencil holder in this fun ocean-themed class. Step by step instruction will be provided.

 Day 1: Learn the basics of hand-building and create a narwhal bowl and little sea friends. 

Day 2: Create a shark pencil holder with tons of teeth with the help of Sara the amazing pottery instructor. 

 Day 3: Learn the fun world of glaze paint and kiln firing. After a short explanation, Sara will assist students in painting their fun ocean creatures with glitter glaze, nature glazes, and other fun techniques. 

Important information:
Class is appropriate for 8-12-year-olds. hand-building projects will be ready in 3 weeks to do 2 kiln firings.
