Kids Pottery Throw Down **4 week clay club

Drop your kids off for a spin on the pottery wheel! 
AGES 8-12 

Our brains need art now more than ever in our modern tech world. 

Allow us to immerse your child in learning a new skill that is equal parts messy and fun! Kids will learn about clay and kilns then centering, lifting, shaping, surface decoration and painting as they are off to creating their own unique pieces in this AWESOME pottery wheel class. 

Did we say mess? 
Yes! Clay is from the earth and just like playing in the mud! 
Aprons will be provided during the session, but we recommend dressing in clothes that can get a little messy. 

Classes run $150 per child for a 4 week session. 

They will make lots of unique things in clay from mugs and bowls to plates and pitchers...we are ready guide your child's imagination! 

Week 1. Clay, Kilns, Wedge, & Throwing on the Potters Wheel 
Week 2. Pottery Wheel Workday and learning about the stages of clay Week 3. Adding Attachments like mug handles, feet, and sculptures 
Week 4. Our pots come to life with Color...learn about brushes, how to add color to wet clay, add special glazes like glitter or sprinkles! 

Class includes, clay, two firings, glaze, instruction and use of tools.

Class begins on October 6th and ends on October 27th
Projects will be ready for pick up in 3 weeks. 
Projects, once fired, will be food and liquid safe. 


Your child will love to take multiple clay clubs and make new and different pieces that cater to the skills they will build and their unique interests.
