KIds Pottery Wheel: One Day Class- October 18th 2024
The Pigeon & The Hen Pottery
Drop your kids off for a spin on the pottery wheel in this super fun 1 day class! This class is a great introduction to pottery and a perfect way to see if they'd be interested in joining one of our more intensive( but still super fun!) pottery camps in the future.
AGES 8-12 This is a two-hour class geared to beginners or intermediate.
Allow us to immerse your child in learning a new skill that is equal parts messy and fun!
Kids will learn about clay and kilns then wedging, centering, lifting, shaping, surface decoration, and painting as they are off to create their unique pieces in this AWESOME pottery wheel class.
Did we say mess?
Yes! Clay is from the earth and just like playing in the mud!
Aprons will be provided during the session, but we recommend dressing in clothes that can get a little messy.
They will make lots of unique things in clay from mugs and bowls to plates and pitchers...we are ready to guide your child's imagination!
Projects ready to pick up after drying and firing twice for liquid and food safety in 3-4 weeks.
**This is a drop-off class. Parents come in to see the space where kids will be in the beginning.
