With The Traveling Artist, you can schedule your lessons when you have time. All the materials are brought to your doorstep and instruction is carried out in the comfort of your own home. About the Instructor Hello! I am Patricia McIntosh. I am a professional artist local to the Puget Sound area, who has been drawing since I could pick up a pencil. I have had a passion for art all throughout grade school where I was always taking art classes and trying to improve as an artist. I received instruction from school but I would have loved more! After high school I went on to earn a bachelors degree in fine arts from The Art Institute of Dallas. There I majored in Media Arts and Animation and improved vastly in my drawing skills. I took several years of life drawing courses and it did wonders for my technique. I also learned a lot about creating digital art in 2D and 3D. After I graduated college in 2009 I began working as a freelance 3D artist. I also began working as an instructor teaching children about animation and game design. Now I want to combine my love for traditional art and teaching and share my love for art with as many people as I can. How it works Live in the Puget Sound area and want to take some lessons? Great! First look through the selection of classes and decide which ones you might be interested in. If you are not sure that's alright too. We can talk about it during our free consultation. Then give me a call! I would love to hear from you! We can set up a time for a free consultation. During this meeting we can get to know each other, and we can discuss your skill level and what you are looking for out of the classes. Together we will tailor your lesson plans to your needs! 469-444-1203 Classes can be scheduled however you want, 2 hours twice a week, 1 hour once a week, 3 hours twice a month, whatever works for you! Each class is charged per hour. When it is time for your first lesson I'll come to your home with all my supplies ready to teach your class! Don't worry about buying anything in advance. I provide everything you will need, and I only buy professional grade quality artist materials.You can pay online or with check or cash upon my arrival.
